How a TJM Airtec Snorkel disperses water:
Water enters the air ram at speed forcing the drops against the back of the ram, which pool around the base of the ram draining through the drain holes.
The air ram is designed to minimise droplet entry to the snorkel body.
Any water that manages to makes its way into the body is then collected by the vehicles original water drains in the air cleaner, stopping any water that could damage the engine.
