Carrying air equipment is useful when four wheel driving in a number of ways. From simply re-inflating tyres after a day out on the tracks, right through to running air tools and re-seating beads.
Air Compressors
An air compressor is great to have on board after being out on the tracks, allowing you to reinflate your tyres on the spot. Many four wheel drivers let air out of their tyres before heading off-road to help increase the footprint the tyre makes on the ground, allowing for better traction. The air compressor makes quick work of pumping them back up again before driving on road.
Air Tanks
An on board air tank provides you with a greater volume of air. This helps when trying to re-seat beads, or when you want to run air tools longer.
